Professional Advisory council

What Is It?

The Professional Advisory Council (PAC) is a group of professionals who want to use their training and skills to ensure the future of our local Jewish community while helping you learn how to maximize wealth transfers to the next generation and to charitable organizations.

PAC members are a diverse group of accountants, lawyers (tax, estate planning, elder law), certified financial planners, insurance agents or brokers (life and related products, long-term care), investment advisors, Medicare advisors, elder care providers, and wealth management advisors.

The PAC was created to support the LIFE & LEGACY™ program. Legacy donors had questions about their options for formalizing their legacy gifts to Jewish organizations in Nashville.  These donors found answers to their questions through retaining the services of a PAC member or from attending a PAC seminar.

What Does the PAC Do?

PAC members donate their time to speak at PAC seminars on a variety of topics related to financial and estate planning. They also talk about the tax consequences associated with charitable giving.  PAC members are available to answer your questions about estate planning, financial planning, and charitable giving during the PAC seminars.

PAC members may also agree to provide their professional services directly to you. If you would like to retain a PAC member to advise you on specific legal or financial matters, please contact them directly to inquire about fee arrangements and the scope of services you need.

PAC Activities

PAC members have recorded a series of short videos on charitable giving topics which may be viewed on our YouTube channel.  In addition, PAC members provide information on estate planning, financial planning, and philanthropic giving at no-cost seminars.

Join the PAC

New PAC members are always welcome.  Candidates should have a minimum of three years of professional experience in their area of expertise.
