About the Speaker

Evan R. Bernstein is the Vice President of Community Relations for Jewish Federations. In his role, Bernstein leads a team with a growing focus to strengthen and support Federations’ community relations efforts across North America. Prior to joining Jewish Federations, Bernstein served as CEO of Community Security Service (CSS). While there he developed formal partnership agreements across the Federation system.
Bernstein has over 25 years of nonprofit experience that includes serving as Vice President of the Northeast Division for the ADL and as the state director for AIPAC in Arizona. In 2019, The Bridge Multicultural Advocacy Project of New York honored Bernstein with their annual Unity Award for his work in long time work in community relations and combatting antisemitism. He earned his bachelor's degree from Western Connecticut State University and his master's degree from Harvard University.
