The NowGen Program is for young Jewish professionals to participate in social, educational, philanthropic and networking initiatives within the Nashville Jewish Community.

East Side Tribe is a grassroots Jewish community with Shabbat dinners, Torah studies, holiday celebrations and other casual events hosted in members’ homes and in local businesses throughout the vibrant neighborhood of East Nashville.  East Side Tribe is a welcoming environment for anyone interested in learning about and participating in Jewish life, regardless of background or faith. We aim to create opportunities to connect with Judaism — and each other — in inclusive, intimate settings that remind us why spirituality is relevant in our lives. EST believes that in our era of global citizenship, Jewish communities must seek a deeper spiritual connectedness through interfaith dialogue, charitable action that contributes to social justice, and ritual that ties tradition to progressive thought. In true wandering Jewish style, we’re not tied to a physical building or congregation; instead we explore intellectual and religious themes in fun social settings that create unique opportunities to meet our neighbors. This is not your Bubbe’s chavurah.

How to be Jewish & Anti-Racist Talk and Workshops The Big Event is a product of Moishe House Without Walls.  A group of young professionals, will hear from a Black Jewish activist on discussing how to build a more inclusive, diverse, actively anti-racist Jewish community in Nashville

Jewsic City Shabbat’s mission is to create a space for people to come together for Shabbat services outside of traditional synagogues and denominations and in the style of Jewish summer camps. Our goal is to maintain a thriving, growing group of young professionals who want to experience their own Judaism in a meaningful way through music, prayer, and community.
