Federation Committees

 

People from a broad spectrum of our Jewish community participate in a variety of Jewish Federation committees that address issues that affect all of us. Each committee is staffed by a Federation professional who brings knowledge and expertise to the table to help implement the members’ proposals and ideas.

  • Annual Campaign Cabinet

    The Cabinet, is made up of over 100 volunteer individuals who serve as ambassadors throughout the Jewish community to educate community members about the Federation’s purpose as community builder and chief funder. They work together to solicit support for the annual campaign, raise over $2.3 million to serve Jewish needs here in Nashville, in Israel and overseas.

    The Community Relations Committee is the central public affairs arm of the Federation. We believe it is our obligation to: Speak out and impact government policy, Be a passionate advocate for Israel and World Jewry, Stand up for social justice, Educate the Jewish and broader communities on issues of importance and Stay in touch with our U.S. Senators and Representatives.

    The Jewish Foundation Development Committee was created in 2012 to help secure the financial security of the vital programs and services offered locally, nationally, in Israel and throughout the world.
