The Jewish Federation of Nashville offers need-based scholarships for trips to Israel and overnight camps. These scholarships are available to students through the 12th grade.
In addition, the Mary and Harry Zimmerman Youth Exchange Endowment Fund supports an Israel Incentive Grant program. These grants are available primarily to 8-12th graders, with limited availability to college students. An incentive grant is a one-time award of up to $2,000 for first-time attendees on an organized Israel experience program to help cover the costs of participation. For additional information on qualified Israel programs, check the links below .
The Jewish Federation of Nashville also subsidizes students interested in participating in Panim El Panim. This program brings together groups of 10th – 12th grade students from several communities around the country for four-day leadership seminars in Washington, D.C. to explore Jewish values and social and political activism.
B’NAI TZEDEK
This program introduces B’nai Mitzvah teens to the joys of tzedakah. Teens can create a fund in their own name in The Foundation with a gift of at least $125 to start on the road to Tikkun Olam, repair of the world, and becoming philanthropists.
