Seeking Volunteers and Opportunites!

Whether it's stuffing envelopes or decorating a room, making goody bags or painting a backdrop, there is always a need for your help with any of the tremendous events and organizations in Jewish Nashville. If you are interested in volunteering in the Jewish community, or if you need volunteers, please contact Naomi Sedek, Campaign Director at 615-354-1642 or email at naomi@jewishnashville.org. more

Young Adults Division

20, 30 and 40-somethings are needed to help plan and get buzz going about

events and the work of the Jewish Federation.  Volunteer opportunities include: welcome and outreach, tikkun olam, mission and conference recruitment, and Annual Campaign volunteering.

Tzedakah Tzunday

Each year, the Jewish Federation’s telethon brings in over 100 community members who phone their friends, neighbors, relatives and strangers, and ask that they contribute to help our community, and those in need around the world.  Volunteers are needed for registration, telephone solicitations, alphabetizing, sorting pledge cards, writing letters and thank you notes, updating phone numbers, and much more!

Ben Gurion Society

The Ben Gurion Society (BGS) is a nationally recognized donor group, comprised of YAD donors who make a minimum individual annual campaign gift of $1000.  Volunteers are needed to help recruit and educate BGS members about the work of the Jewish Federation and ongoing community needs.

For more information about BGS, please contact Naomi Limor Sedek at

(615) 354-1642 or naomi@jewishnashville.org.

The Partnership

The Partnership, also known as Partnership 2000 or P2K, has served as a vital connection between Nashville and Hadera-Eiron, Israel, our partnership region.  Through teacher exchanges and teen delegations to the Gordon Jewish Community Center’s Camp Davis, our community has been enriched by our Israeli friends.  Volunteers are needed to help find host families (or serve as host families) during summer and winter exchanges, organize Partnership programs, and coordinate with congregations and Akiva School to educate the community about the Partnership and Israel.
